VMAC is proud to announce our membership to Safer Dance Spaces. SDS, in partnership with CLIMB, is dedicated to providing a Safer & Braver place to dance. In an effort to create a safe space for our community; free of sexual misconduct, violence and harassment, we have taken the steps to get educated through SDS's training program and materials to formulate a zero tolerance policy and code of conduct for all who enter our space. All instructors, staff, visiting guest instructors and students will be required to follow our Code of Conduct. Additionally all of our staff will be required to sign the code of conduct and attend training in order to work at VMAC. This information will be posted inside our studio, on our website and on our social media platforms. We hope that other studios and event promoters educate themselves to help us create more safe spaces for our communities to dance in.
