FAQs

Do you offer virtual lessons?

We do indeed! However, it's not the most ideal way to learn. There are some subtleties that are hard to pick up in remote lessons. But we can accommodate if necessary.

Do I need a piano at home to take piano lessons?

It would be awesome if you did but it's not absolutely necessary. But do know this, if you don't have a way to practice between lessons it's unlikely that you are going to get as much value out of them. You don't need a $40000 grand piano to play. Grab an inexpensive keyboard and some headphone from a local guitar shop and you will be good to go! We will even help you shop for it.

Do I need a full drum set to take drum lessons?

It's preferable for more advanced students but for beginners a drum pad will suffice. But be thinking long term that you will definitely want a full set.

Can I interview a teacher before I begin lessons?

Yes! We encourage it. If you don't like your teacher you are unlikely to get very far. Music needs to be fun and going to a lesson every week with someone you don't mesh with would really negate that possibility.
