FAQs
Are books and materials included in the price of the training?
An electronic copy of your student manual is included in the price of your 200hr training. If you would like a printed and bound copy of the manual, ready on the first day of training, this is an additional fee. We find it extremely beneficial to have a printed copy for note taking, sequencing, and quick reference. Any other required texts must be bought separately. Required texts for the different trainings may be available at WYC, we suggest coming in to see what we have in stock. If we are out of any of the required reading books, we can direct you where to purchase them.
What is the typical age range & class size of the participants?
Students generally range in age from 20-70 years of age. Class sizes in the past have ranged from 10-20 participants depending on location. Trainings are limited to help maintain an interactive student-teacher relationship, and programs with more than 25 participants have up to two teaching assistants in addition to the director.
Who will be my instructor?
All of our private sessions are led by 200 or 500 hour Yoga Alliance registered teachers paired specifically to meet the needs of your group and requests.
Where are the teachers from?
All teachers attending the retreat currently teach at Wilmington Yoga Center. All of our teachers are experienced, compassionate and dedicated practitioners who will do their best to ensure you have an amazing experience.
Will there be free time for other activities?
Absolutely! You are always welcome to arrange any activities that you are interested in. These costs are not included in the package with Wilmington Yoga Center but all are welcome to create any schedule that helps you make the most of your experience!
