Some people call us the Bernie Sanders of yoga nonprofits. Well not really but at least one person does that we know of⦠our founder (the very person writing this post), haha. nnJust like Bernie we are a grassroots organization that relies almost entirely on the generosity of our individual donors to sustain our organization. We are extremely proud that we are able to operate 2 amazing studios solely on the financial choices of our students to give back and support our mission.nnAnd just like Bernie, a core tenet of who we are is transparency with our people. We track a handful of metrics that allow us to be aware of trajectory and trends so that we can remain agile and make healthy choices for the organization. nnEach of these metrics is shared every single month on our website, in our newsletter, on our social accounts and through our online Slack community. nnâï¸ Total Donationsnâï¸ Average Donationnâï¸ Total Expensesnâï¸ Total Visitsnâï¸ New Clientsnâï¸ Unique Clientsnâï¸ Active Cultivate Warriors nnAnother core tenet at Cultivate is to educate our community. We help our people learn our unique business model so that we can create a common language, build awareness of our results and work together to continuously shift towards sustainability. nnThis is why weâre launching some new content on our site. nnIntroducing: Metrics ExplainednnYour one-stop-shop to learn everything about the numbers we track - how we track them, why we track them and how you can help us reach our goals.nnCheck it all out at:nnwww.cultivateyoga.org/metrics-explainednnEach one of us plays a significant role in sustaining GIFT-BASED YOGA for ALL. nnThank you beautiful humans í ½í¸...
