What is Yasodhara Yoga?

Yasodhara Yoga is a holistic yoga based on a lineage of teachings from Swami Radha, who studied with Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh. There is an emphasis on the spiritual traditions of yoga. Our approach includes Karma Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Dream Yoga. The Hatha Yoga and Hidden Language Hatha Yoga we practice is gentle and reflective.

What connects your teachers to Yasodhara Ashram?

All Yasodhara teachers have been trained at Yasodhara Ashram and renew their training every three years. We represent the Ashram in our local communities.

Who is Swami Radha?

Swami Sivananda Radha (1911-1995) is the founder and spiritual inspiration for Yasodhara Ashram. A pioneer in the development of yoga in the West, her approach was distinguished by her unique ability to synthesize yogic teachings and Western psychology.
