Can I eat before yoga or aerial?
Eat a light meal 2 hours before class starts, and avoid heavy meals or acidic foods (coffee, tomatoes, soda) within 4 hours of an aerial class. Bring water to class and stay hydrated.
Can I take pictures?
Yes, please do! Be proud of your accomplishments, and make memories with them so you can share with friends and family. We ask that you use video/photos for your own personal practice and growth as an aerial practitioner. If others are in your pictures or videos, we request you do not post on social media without their permission.
How big are the classes?
Om Base offers aerial classes of up to 11 students so that everyone is guaranteed their own silk. All students are given hands on instruction with classes that are catered to their abilities, skills, and goals. With smaller group classes, safety is the number one priority for all students. We ask that since you must reserve your own hammock or silk to please be courteous about signing up on our scheduling software and cancelling classes before 24 hours so that other students on the waiting list may get a spot. ** All classes require pre-registration so that everyone is guaranteed their own hammock**
Can I buy water at the studio?
In keeping with our commitment to reducing waste, Yoga Om does not sell water bottles, though we do have filtered water dispensers. Bring your own bottle and fill up in the studio.
Where are you located?
We are conveniently located at the heart of Wasilla, in our beautiful blue building 960 S. Check St. Wasilla across the Native Hospital. We have plenty of parking and we look forward to seeing you
