Although it is very rare for me to accept children personally at this point, I have hired and trained a wonderful teacher by the name of Hana Shin in my unique learning methodologies. She has a bachelor’s in music from Princeton and a master’s in music, science, and technology from Stanford. She is incredibly versatile - able to teach classical, jazz, composition, improvisation, etc. - and continues to receive extensive training from me. In Hana’s words: “I take my teaching work very seriously, and that my focus is on helping my students learn as effectively as possible. That being said, the student is also my teacher that helps me grow and improve each day, and I have the utmost respect for each unique individual that I come to interact with.
