Camp is directed by Coach Jason Hasson and staffed by his regular season assistants and/or Belleview employees. All adult staff must have undergone fingerprinting, background checks, and met with school approval. Over the summer, current Belleview basketball players typically work as counselors/referees. Belleview alumni often use their summer break from college to work at camp.

Yes, but they must remain in backpacks at all-times in the designated backpack area. No one is allowed to return to the backpack area except during supervised breaks. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Daytime camp shirts are handed out and camp photos are taken on the last day. Summer Squad receives their shirts on the first day. We order surplus in all sizes, however, last-minute registration are not guaranteed their requested size.

We work hard to make sure campers feel both comfortable and challenged. We divide the entire camp into two age divisions: NCAA for 3rd-5th Grade, and the NBA for 6th-8th Grade. Within each division, we draft teams. After morning tryouts on Day 1, coaches privately draft their teams. This allows us to spread out the talent without embarrassment and to promote healthy competition. During games, everyone gets equal playing time. Second-string players face each other in the first and third quarters. First-string players face each other in the second and fourth quarters. Most teams have two co-coaches. This allows individual explanations when beginners need them.
