R-E-S-P-E-C-T You know those famous words (or letters?) from Aretha Franklin. And in this fitness world this has validity too. Recently we completed our 6 Week Lifestyle Challenge. And the base of this challenge was completing simplified habits over and over again for the 6 week period. Our role was to help the participants stay accountable to the habits they said they would do. And little by little these small daily habits led to GREAT results! Some people saw over 5 pounds of weight loss. Some people saw over 3% decrease in body fat. Some people saw a LOSS of over 3 inches and there were so many more wins too. But the thing about those numbers, is it wasn't enough. We are our toughest critic, and YOU DESERVE more respect from YOU. I know how hard it can be to not let the scale dictate the victories and success. But the bottom line is, the scale takes NOTHING else into consideration besides your weight on a given day. We had to help people understand the scale CAN'T dictate your happiness, and these were hard convos. (Doesn't that sound funny, a scale can't dictate happiness...But it did!) As we head into 2023 and we start to think about in 2023 I will... Goals, put some respect on your name. And start with this... Share below and let us know how you'll show YOU more RESPECT in 2023?
