How much does it cost?
We have a variety of programs to fit every student's need and budget. Depending upon the length of the program and rate of attendance the investment ranges from $10 to $18 per class with discounts for additional family members. NO Testing Fees or hidden charges.
Do I have to be in shape to begin taking classes?
Everyone is welcome at the dojo regardless of fitness level. We tailor every class to the ability and age of our students to make sure each participant is challenged but that no one is left behind. Many new students can't believe the transformation they experience in a few short months.
How long will it take to get my black belt?
The average student coming 3 days a week and practicing on their own at home can achieve a Black belt in 3-5 years. Lower belts typically take 3 months between ranks but at higher belts more time is required as the curriculum is more difficult and additional refinement is necessary.
Can I try a class before I sign up?
Yes. Introductory programs are available as a "No Risk" way to ensure our dojo is a good fit for you and/ or your child. We focus on excellent instruction, responsible advancement of our students and a positive experience and don't wish for anyone to feel "locked in" to a situation that isn't beneficial for everyone.
Will my child get injured doing karate?
Risk is always present in contact sports therefore we mandate the use of the latest in protective gear and all interactions are closely monitored by our expert staff. Also, according to Johns Hopkins Medical reports, martial arts presents much lower rates of injury compared to other popular sports.
