Sound Bath Yoga Nidra Mediations with Live Harp by Desert Breeze Yoga Emma is an active orchestral harpist, soloist, accompanist, teacher, reiki master and sound healer. She has been performing for over 25, beginning her career performing at weddings with her mother when she was 12 years old! She loves sharing her gifts to help make a dream wedding your reality. Her orchestral experience spans over 15 years, having had the honor of performing under conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Michael Tilson Thomas, Edwin Outwater, and Charles Dutoit. She has accompanied singers, instrumentalists, harpists, and a host of string players for various weddings and concerts. She helped create and perform in the Phoenix Harp Circle. She is the President of our Phoenix Chapter of the American Harp Society, and she is also a happy participant in several larger musical organizations, as harp needs arise. She recently begun the journey into sound healing. She also completed her reiki certification and has expanded her musical capabilities to serve the community in light work through sound. Far removed from the typical concert venue, she plays with intention alongside sound healers for Vibrational Healing sessions (similar to a Yoga Nidra class). This is something totally new in the thousands of years of music-making, combining a 6-foot pedal harp, an electric lever harp, ancient gongs, soothing singing bowls, and reiki to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and facilitate healing.
