Here's a recap of why "detox talk" is harmful speech, especially when paired with yoga. You will never hear me say these things in a class or to students. I bring this up because I hear it a lot. There is a common misconception that one ought to detoxify themselves after eating certain foods or meals. My advice is to stay out of people's food choices and drop the detox talk. "Yoga has so many amazing science- backed benefits. There's no need to make stuff up just to get people to their mats...other than to make money off of the lies."...
