🌴 VMAC Zouk Summer Weekender 🌴 🍹 The Summer Intensive will focus on incorporating movements and styling from the root dance of Brazilian Zouk, Lambada! Portland is blessed to have the beautiful Unicorn Jessica visiting us from New York City where she is responsible for bringing Neo Lambada to the forefront of the Zouk dance scene. 🍹 Start the weekend Friday evening by exploring the basics of Zouk. Perfect for Zouk Curious dancers to get a lot of information in a short amount of time. Learn to dance the opposite role and gain valuable insight on what the other half of the dance experiences, or simply brush up on your fundamental movements! Stay and dance with us at the Friday Social! 🍹 On Saturday, explore creative variations and combinations of movements taught in the PDX Zouk Curriculum, as well as new content! This will be followed by a workshop on Neo Lambada movements that create a new texture and movement pattern for your Brazilian Zouk dancing; this workshop will be taught by Jessica Lambon, our famous Unicorn Zouk Dancer! 🍹 On Sunday take advantage of hearing the follow theory and voice come to life with Jessica, where followers are shown where they can express themselves within the dance! Followed finally by an energetic and exciting Sunday workshop combining elements of the whole weekend taught by Chris & Deblin We’ll end the weekend by partying at the VMAC Sunday Social!
