Seattle Artist League Art School

After years of wanting to offer pottery, we have done it. Our new pottery studio is part of our school in Georgetown (pictured right). The large airy space offers plenty of wheels (14 + instructor wheel), large work tables for handbuilding, 2 kilns, and racks-upon-racks of drying space.

Just about to complete my 8 week beginning wheel throwing pottery class and am so excited about all my creations!
There’s something special about art schools - all i have to do is walk in, and feel the acceptance and freedom.
Scott would do a brief demo to intro each class and then we were free to experiment and make whatever we wanted.
I've taken a few abstract classes w Fran O online/zoom and can say without question, the classes not only saved my life during Covid but pushed my own thoughts about and approach to abstraction.
