JMJ String Studio

Jacquon is an amazing teacher who is skillful, patient, and fun to learn from.

I have been a violin and viola student of Jean-Michel Jacquon for about 2 years.

Sophie enjoys taking lessons from Mr Jean Michel because of his patience, encouragement and sense of humor.

Then as an adult, I thought it was too late, until the want to praise and worship God became more important to me and my family than life itself!

When I studied with JMJ, he helped me to focus on improving my skills and technical abilities rather than just playing through songs.

My now college student has gone on to play in the university symphony and continues to thoroughly enjoy playing the violin, thanks to Jean-Michel instilling a genuine love and appreciation of music education.

Jacquon is great communicating with parents and has always been great about helping us as our schedule changes from year to year.

My wife and I took some beginning lessons from Jean-Michel in person and had such great success beyond what I would have thought possible.

We find his lessons helpful, as he always points out the small details and ways for us to improve.

He has contributed so much in helping my daughters pass the competitive Hawai’i Youth Symphony auditions by being patient and understanding.
