Island Health & Fitness is a state-of-the-art 65,000 square foot complex that was developed by Community Corners, Inc. Terry, Tim and Joe Ciaschi originally came up with the idea of a cutting edge fitness facility. Together with the help of their father, Joseph Ciaschi, and our partners at Cayuga Medical Center, the development of the Cayuga Wellness Center and Island Health & Fitness took place in February 2006. In 2011, Island Health & Fitness expanded into the Community Corners area with a 12,000 square foot facility.

You get your exercises how you prefer, aqua aerobics in a warm pool for rehab or balance or low impact training, swimming, and a hot tub.
The locker rooms, however, were very crowded.
A nice spot to meet a friend for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat (delicious chai latte).
Complete with all types of workout equipment.
Love the fact that the dumbbells were in 2.
I love the water classes: Aqua Zumba, Aqua Fit and Aqua Cheer.
Best gym i ve ever been to, on 3 continents
It’s apparent that there isn’t a full time staff to do laundry, clean, etc — let’s just say I’m not comfortable going barefoot in the locker rooms.
Island Fitness is a Sanctuary of Health and Well-Being; I've been a member here for 12 years so far and its consistently been Awesome; the more effort you put in, the better you feel after as with everything you do.
Great facility, great staff, excellent value.
