The great advantage of Hatha Yoga exercises is that they bring allmuscle groups into play. Muscles are slowly stretched to full length. The asanas, or poses, areheld in perfect stillness, causing blood to flow evenly throughout thebody. With the improvement of muscle tone and flexibility of thejoints and spine, sluggish and aging glands are revitalized. ThroughYoga we also learn that deep, controlled breathing is nature'stranquilizer and rejuvenation.

Sentiment Analysis
As a long time student, I can attest to Ilse's outstanding talent as a yoga instructor. Her classes fit every student, as she gives alternatives to every asana. Alternative approaches give variety to every session. Informative articles shared monthly round out the experience. Having an ongoing core of students over many years attest to her excellence in the "art" and "discipline" of yoga. Thank you, Ilse.
I lived in Punta Gorda FL about 20 years ago and took Ilse’s yoga classes twice a week for nearly 5 years. I left FL and now reside in southern CA. I did my home practice daily in FL and after I moved. Ilse introduced me to Hathaway Yoga in class and yoga philosophy on a personal basis. She’s amazing as an instructor and a person. Distinguished Teaching Award is well-deserved. I practice meditation and some yoga now. Thank you Ilse for your instruction and guidance in yoga over the years. You are an amazing instructor and person.
I've practiced yoga on & off for so many years! She was "The Best" teacher I've ever had! I'm 72. No more words needed! I read all the comments; all true! Will miss her classes and her forever!

The best yoga teacher ever.
I really enjoyed it, and now feel I am well prepared to attend a special workshop this summer that will include yoga practice.
I highly recommend from beginners and those who have practiced for years.
She is so knowledgeable and is always learning so that we all stay safe and learn the newest & latest techniques.
If you haven't tried it you should!
And always says if it hurts don't do it,she will triy to adjust the exercises to address any health issues a student may be experiencing.
