I began playing the bass guitar in 9th grade. I stunk. I wanted to play baseball much more than practice. I learned to read music while playing the clarinet and eventually the tuba in high school, where I began to fool around with the guitar. I really didn't get serious about the guitar until I graduated high school and went to college. There I was able to study for several years with a few different teachers with different styles. Jazz, blues and just a touch of classical. I started playing with my band Myrage at the age of 18 and Rock & Roll has been my passion since then. I started teaching guitar around the age of 23 ( probably a bit too soon) and have learned a lot along the way. Learning the guitar is easy. Getting good is hard. I'm still learning everyday.

Fraser is a great music teacher, and a fabulous human!
After around a year and a half of instruction with Fraser, I feel I surpassed where I was when I played a long time ago.
I had some extremely basic self-taught knowledge, but wanted to make sure that I was able to demonstrate good technique for the students and help them to develop good habits, so I signed up for lessons.
He’s the best guitar instructor, my son and daughter both went to him and he was amazing with them!
Always had the best bass lessons as a kid, kind soul just trying to share his talent with others!
He also spends a lot of time behind the scenes working on materials and developing content- lesson time is focused and organized and always a great time.
If you are wondering if you should take lessons, I can assure you that Fraser can take you to the next level!
I studied at Berklee later and continue to explore the guitar in all genres to this day, but I continually go back to what Fraser has taught me, the foundation that's made me the guitar player, studio musician, songwriter, and commercial writer I am today.
Fraser will work with you patiently and encourage you no matter how much you struggle with it, he’s genuinely passionate about helping you learn as much as you could ever want and finding ways to make it personal to you.
I took lessons from Fraser over 20 years and he taught me things that still stay with me today when I play guitar.
