Opening its doors in 1995 under the leadership of Professor Fabio Clemente, a pioneer of BJJ on the East Coast and 3x Pan American Champion, Studio X offers classes 7 days a week, brought to you by a passionate team of IBJJF World Champions, active high-level competitors, and lifelong students of the game. As someone with an athletic background but extremely inexperienced in a combat sport, the No-Gi Fundamentals have helped me to learn the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, make some great acquaintances, challenge myself physically and mentally, and learn a new skill for life.
Great instruction, and upper belts that knew the technique or drilling well were helpful once we split into pairs.
It’s a great gym all around, high quality instruction, fun friendly environment—clean and safe mats—very welcoming especially for women.
