It is a progressive workout where each posture stretches and strengthens the muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture in the series. I moved from San Diego where Pilates & Sculpt are very mainstream and competitive in a sense, tried a few other well known studios in Sacramento and it was the same energy - churning classes out, packing us into a pitch black room like sardines, no thoughtful explanation of how/why to do the exercise, no corrections to prevent injuries.
Visiting town for a couple days and stumbled across this studio, and man am I glad I did.
The bottom line is this: If you are looking to get into great shape, and at the same time reap the spiritual, emotional, and physical benefits of a yoga practice, Doma Yoga Studio will not disappoint

This studio seems to mostly do heated yoga!

I've gone to Doma off and on over the past year and a half and love how supportive the teachers are and the hours and variety of classes offered.
Engaged teachers, great music, and connected flows.
Ashley has been a great teacher as I frequent her noon vinyasa class- I signed up for 6 month membership because I have been enjoying my overall experience so much.
The instructors do an excellent job to work with you at your level with enthusiasm and kindness.
