FAQs
Do I need a reservation?
Nope! You can stop in anytime to paint with us! If you have a group larger than 6, you might want to call ahead just so we can get tables set up for you. (For groups larger than 10 or to schedule a party, see our Parties tab.)
Can I actually make something or do you just paint there?
Great question! And yes, you can definitely do more than just paint here (our name is DIY Pottery, after all!) We offer classes, camps and other events throughout the year. Chcek out our Events page for more info on our upcoming options!
Can I paint at home?
Absolutely! We have to-go kits so you can take your glazes with you and paint your pieces at home. When you finish you just drop the pieces off with us so we can fire them. They'll be ready to pick up in 1-3 days!
How much does it cost?
All of our pieces are individually priced, so it depends on the piece you choose. Most of our pieces average between $21.99 and $28.99. We do have pieces that cost less than that average and some that cost more. We also have a $2.49 studio fee that covers the cost of the glazes, an extra clear protective coat, and firing the kiln. (This studio fee is the same whether you paint in our studio or at home.)
Do you have a list of available pieces?
Our goal is to keep our pieces interesting, so we often switch out the pieces available in our shop. While this is a good thing, it unfortunately makes it very difficult to keep an updated list of current pieces. However, we are sure that there is something for everyone always available! If there is a specific item or style you are looking for, feel free to contact the shop to see if we currently have it in stock.
