This week marks a major milestone for Moonflower Yoga – it is our 10- year anniversary! Moonflower Yoga was formed with a mantra of “small class, personal attention” to enable teachers to interact more closely with students. Friendships are also formed, and many students spend time with people they met through Moonflower. Community is important & the Moonflower Yoga Book Club was launched where we have fun reading & discussing our monthly selection. That was followed with the Moonflower Yoga Needle Arts Group, where we crochet and knit together and donate many pieces to charities. We also learned something new in great workshops on topics from creating art, cooking ideas, crafts, and much more. Lots of laughs have been shared. A number of workshops are now offered online including yoga workshops, “In the Kitchen with Bob” cooking workshop, “An Evening of Guided Meditation & Relaxation” with Bhante Sujatha (the loving-kindness monk) and a Yoga Nidra night with Jackie which is a very deep meditation.
