I had the honor to meet Sifu Duncan Leung in China. Duncan Leung is one of Yip Manâs (Ip Man) Disciples during the 50s and childhood friends of Bruce Lee. nHe was one of the first Wing Chun Masters to bring Wing Chun to the states and has taught many students around the world. For those who donât know Duncan Leung started the Wing Chun Lineage we here at Colorado School of Wing Chun teach and study. To meet the man whoâs responsible for introducing many of us to the martial arts path was such a surreal experience. I got to talk to him about martial arts and itâs traditions. Why itâs important to still practice Kung Fu in this day and age as well as get to experience how kind and generous of a man he is.
