Adrien is originally from New York and has been dancing her entire life. Though never formally trained, she got her start performing for talent shows, birthday parties, and family gatherings. In high school she started her own dance team where she taught and showcased her own choreographies. She started competing for collegiate ballroom competitions and won numerous medals for Arizona State University. In 2015, Adrien competed in the National Samba Queen Competition and won third place in the nation, with only having taken her samba classes six months prior. The following year in 2016, Adrien won second place, and in 2017 Adrien was crowned Samba Queen for the United States. As a result, Adrien was able to go to Brazil and take lessons from top instructors and be part of the Carnival in Rio de Janiero. Adrien currently teaches workshops of samba through the states as well perform in parades and shows. She recently moved to Miami to pursue her goals as a dancer and teach her samba classes!
