During the pandemic, I have kept up my individual mat sessions over Zoom and my instructor has been a gem.

Other classes/studios I have experienced have mostly been big machines that push 50+ people in a studio with little to no individual attention.

Phyllis' tremendous knowledge of the human body and its systems coupled with mastery of Iyengar yoga provides the opportunity for anyone to practice and progress under her teaching and supervision.

I found it quite by accident back when it was the ONLY dedicated space for yoga in Charlotte.

I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years--and while I've dabbled in other styles occasionally--in my experience, nothing comes close to the precision, depth, and effectiveness of the Iyengar approach.

I have talked myself into more mindfulness just writing this review and will return again to work through and with my injured body and mind.
