I was an absolute beginner and at my 6th lesson I was able to play and sing one of my favorite songs!!
Whether you’re just learning your first few chords or you’re shredding through Van Halen tunes, Chris can analyze where you’re at and give you things to work on that will get you closer to where you want to be -regardless of the style of music.
Chris is a great guy and excellent instructor....
During that time we have covered a mass of music theory drawing from Chris's ASU training, an introduction to Jazz, again based on Chris’s ASU education and an introduction to Blues, tapping into Chris's years of experience as a professional musician.
He is fun to talk to and eased the anxiety I felt around wanting to learn about music but not previously having any musical ability.
So I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to learn how to play the guitar, or even anyone who knows how to play but wants to increase their skill level.
He has a passion for music and teaching others.
Within the first 15 minutes of the first lesson, he completely changed the method of strumming and picking that my son had been taught.
Incredible musician, artist, teacher and person.
Tia loves the guitar more than ever now and enjoys singing, which Chris encourages at lessons and jam sessions with other students.
