It was a rather hot day, but they continued to put on a great show.
My daughter loved it!
Love it here, we’ve only done the little kid classes but the teachers are great and the kids have a blast!
We started with intro classes then with the performance company, completely at our own pace.
10/10 recommend this for everyone, from kids to adults, whether you are a beginner or highly skilled.
Super friendly staff and teachers.
We also love MCID because unlike other Irish Dance studios it is non competitive and the studio personnel and instructors all acknowledge and encourage healthy balanace between dance, family, and other aspects of life.
I believe this stems from the fact that MCID is a performance-focussed school, and not competitive: a performance is only successful if the whole troupe does well—and at MCID, all are willing to do their part to contribute to this joint success.
The classes allow us to learn new choreography, perfect our technique, and maybe goof around a little, too!
I’m so glad I switched to Motor City Irish Dance, because now I get to perform with my friends which I love so much more than competing because I get to show others my love for Irish Dance!
