At first, we will learn basic things such as the shape of the hands when playing the piano, how to shift the center of gravity to the fingertips and arms, posture, scales, using a metronome to match the rhythm, and the balance between the volume of the melody and accompaniment.

I’ve brought in songs that I want to learn to play, she’s helped me transcribe pop songs I like, she’s helped me with being able to play piano and sing at the same time --- whatever direction I’ve wanted to go in, she has been enthusiastic, encouraging, and helpful
