Depending on the student's individual needs and grade level, we, typically, have highly focused and intense tutoring sessions at least twice a week, which is outside of the norm, but highly effective. We go back to math basics (past concepts students need in order to understand what they're learning today). Oftentimes, we're even forced to go back to elementary mathematics, and that's ok. .. even expected. We fill in the gaps that the schools assumed they'd already mastered, then advance them forward at their own pace. We've been helping students this way, since 2010, and have experienced tremendous success with every child who has entered our program.

She would get so anxious and start crying when she came across a math problem that was difficult.
In less than a 2 year span (and yes, she’s so amazing that we’ve been going to her that long) my child has made a literal 360 when it comes to her performance, understanding, and confidence in math.
After three years, my son was not only passing his math classes and STAAR exam, but his grade was at the top of the students in his class and he had an IEP.
Immediately she restored his confidence, helped him comprehend the material and even taught him some calculation hacks!
I think one of the most important things Candace understands, besides their ability to teach others is the importance of a connection between students and teacher.
She really made a difference in helping Manny learn to love math again.
Very incising and moves at your pace
Candace took him on as a student not only did his score go up 200 points in math she prepped him for the A.
This was to obtain where my son was, what they needed to go back over to ensure the foundation was solid before they started tutoring for Advanced Geometry.
After she’s done, my daughter comes to me smiling and joyful saying “guess what I learned?
