Chayon-Ryu is based on the natural movements found within each of its parent styles - Chinese Chu'an Fa, Japanese Karate, Korean Taekwondo, Okinawa-Te, Judo/ Jujitsu, and Hapkido/ Aikido. Been here 40 years ago, Master Kim Soo might not remember me, but long time ago he told our class that he fought Bruce Lee.
I had a few associates who were already into karate and so and so and had belts and sashes, so it was a pleasure to get a free pass to visit and participate that one day.
Other than that heard it was a good style, so 4 stars, 5 if I attended and I didn't get a older sifu well master on the outside of the class turns out to be angry if approached and spoke to, or even suggesting maybe he has a technique I couldn't necessary learn in a chinese martial art and his japanese martial art (Hard vs hard it usually karate), maybe something I could show (but I am not sure if you don't already know the moves
The only downside I had is with the billing department and notifications and it’s always been a troublesome for me.
I highly recommend trying it for ninety days and see the transformation begin to take place.

There is a lot of discipline involved that helps improve character and emotional control.
