Call me crazy, but I LOVE working with young people, and I'm passionate about helping them succeed. I received a Missouri teacher's certificate for secondary mathematics and taught high school math for six years. I also worked for two years as a private tutor and test prep course instructor.

He is very prompt do my tutoring sessions and understood my subject materials and explained all the information very well.

In my opinion this was way better then a class because you are getting one on one training.
With Bob we focused on 1 or 2 ACT test areas that each of our kids needed help improving and both kids benefited from the sessions with significant improvement in those subject areas.
Our daughter attended a school district ACT prep class four hours a day for three weeks over the summer and her practice ACT score went up 3 points as a result.
But it also ensured that they both got the scores they wanted so they could get the higher merit/autoscholarships which in the end will save them money they won't now have to borrow.
Mr Johnson’s classes gave him the skills and confidence to see that his score could be improved, so for the third try he worked hard at doing practice tests in advance and increased his score four more points.
As an artsy person I thought that math was tedious and frustrating, and I could never get straight answers to my “why?�
