I spent four years at the University of Northern Colorado, pursuing a degree in Jazz Studies and playing in a band of my own at the same time. It was difficult and there were a lot of sleepless nights, but my love for the music and my dedication to the craft enabled me to graduate with honors and sign a record deal. During and after school, I began to tour extensively throughout the United States, seeing nearly every state several times over. During that time I got to hear my songs on the radioandin TV shows, play dream tours like the Vans Warped Tour, and get my first taste of making a living as a musician.
