Our school has been teaching weapons free self defense since1980. Students are taught to defend in an powerfully defensive way. In class contact is allowed only for blocking techniques. This teaches students to have self control, and to only strike someone as a last resort. We fight only to stop our attacker and not become like our attacker by killing or maiming them.
