Professor Gilberto Castro, a black belt under "Luis"'Limão " Heredia, shared this vision and set a goal to bring all the benefits he learned throughout his journey to black belt, to the local community of West Maui. He wanted to create a place where anyone willing to put in the time and effort, could grow as a person, and discover something inside themselves they never imagined possible. Professor Gilberto also has a special passion to see women empowered through the art of Jiu-Jitsu and strives to create an inclusive atmosphere for all to feel welcome.

I was in Maui for work and did a drop in class, super welcoming.
The only problem I have is not with Aloha Roll, but the location is unfortunately home to 2 HUGE 5 g cell towers, less than 50 feet from the enterance.
Highly recommend this place for a drop in.
I wish I could remember the names of the guys I rolled with because they were awesome.
Got to roll with him as well on my first day which was amazing.
As someone who’s been in the martial arts industry for years, I can truly say that Gilberto and his team run a top notch academy!
I was on vacation in Maui and trained as part of a jiu jitsu retreat and loved every second.
