Tuesday morning at THE YESS BOXING CLUB. Tom is 79 years old. He happens to be our oldest member of our boxing gym. Tom is a 4x cancer survivor, having a huge portion of his liver cut out. He also has had 3 quadruple bypass open heart surgeries. Tom has been training in our gym through it all. Over 10 years. Working along side our amateur and professional boxers. Coach Al Artola has Tom jump rope, shadow box, hit pads, hit the bag, lift weights, hit the tire with a sledgehammer, and occasionally get his sparring in. Everyone's circumstances are different. I get that. But... One's attitude in any given set of circumstances is a choice. Tom chooses to keep punching. So should YOU. You want to learn how to box? We will teach you. Ages 12 and up.
