Kids ages 5-8 must be water-safe and able to swim 25 yards with little to no assistance (any kind of swimming is fine - doesn't need to be a legal stroke). Kids 9&up should be water-safe and able to swim 50 yards freestyle without assistance (11& up should be able to do so without stopping).

The plan is still coming together, but here are the details we know so far. Instead of our normal 7 dual meets, we will swim 4 dual meets, with each dual meet being broken up across two days. Ages 10 and younger will always swim on Tuesday evenings, while ages 13 & older will always swim on Thursday evenings. Ages 11-12 will swim on whichever evening allows us to evenly balance our number of participants. For example, if our opponent has more 13+ swimmers, the 11-12 year olds will swim on Tuesday with the younger kids to balance the numbers.

No. Your swimmer can wear any swimsuit they are comfortable in for both practice and competition, but snugly fitting athletic style suits are recommended, as are goggles and a swim cap for swimmers with hair past their ears. Contact team coordinators for help with sizing.

Yes! We have more new swimmers this year than ever before! There will be lots of specific stroke instruction at practices, especially for the younger age groups. Private lessons will also be available for those who want more practice and instruction.

Yes, especially in the early season. Use the Remind App to let Coach Ken know when your swimmer will miss practice. Later in the season, it becomes important to be more consistent with attendance in order to prepare for swim meets.
