We teach from ages 4-100+. We believe that anyone of any age can train, and we work to meet students where they are to guide them through their martial arts training.

Absolutely! Taekwondo training is a great way for adults to relieve stress, regain focus, and maintain a great exercise routine. We understand that our bodies change as we age and work to make Taekwondo accessible to all students, no matter their age or physical challenges. The strength of all martial arts comes from technique, which can be mastered by almost anyone.

Our tuition is $110 a month for up to 3 classes a week. There are no testing fees until black belt, at which point we charge for Kukkiwon certification, which is an internationally recognized certification for Taekwondo.

Students will need to purchase sparring gear: Hogu (chest protector), arm and shin guards, head gear, mouth piece, and groin cup when they reach level of yellow belt, which is often within the first 6-8 months of training. Students are also responsible for purchasing new uniforms and covering tournament fees when they compete.

Everyone is on their own path, so there is no hard-fast rule of how long it takes. We can safely say the minimum time at SipJin will be 3-4 years. It is important that students not only can perform their curriculum, but that they fully understand their curriculum by the time they test for black belt.
