“After a welcome by Lauren and sharing of ideas and conversation once we were all present and accounted for, Lauren shared a beautiful invocation inviting us to relax into our being-ness (for want of a better description)...”
“You immediately feel calmer, uplifted and held by its beautiful surroundings in the forest by the flowing creek with labyrinth, tipi, garden, sweat lodge, crystal shop and more.”
Sit back and relax as Tibetan & crystal bowls (and other instruments) help bring you back into alignment thru sacred sound therapy. This is a great way to clear yourself and recharge for the week ahead. For those interested, it can also assist in achieving deeper stages of meditation. There will be a ceremony at 10am and another one at 5:30pm. Depending on the weather and temperature, this ceremony will be held either outside under our large tent (with fans) or upstairs in the loft of our old church. Under either scenario, we will practice social distancing. We will also cap the number of attendees so please RSVP beforehand. To help make this affordable to all, we have an offering range of $15-$25. All are welcome as long as you come with an open mind and respectful heart. With Love and Gratitude...
“For those interested in helping meditators or the teacher or the center, your offerings of food and donations will earn the righteous merits due for dana, as the practice here is righteous and diligent.”
“The Silver Spring Zendo-now called One Heart Sangha, offers opportunities to learn and practice zen meditation in the Soto tradition, practicing Zen forms, on Zoom and in Rockville at 2 locations with teachers authorized in the White Plum Asanga.”
