But sometimes, that aggression can stem from hormones or hurt feelings. Whatever is causing our children to be aggressive, they need a place to discharge that energy. One parent found a unique way to help her child deal with inner aggression. She introduced the 'anger tree.' Every time the child felt angry, he would go to the tree, hit it, yell at it, or just vent. This 'tree therapy' became a safe outlet for his emotions, helping him express his feelings in a healthier way. It's okay to give your kiddo a safe, physical outlet for their inner aggression.
