FAQs

How much do lessons cost?

Private lessons are $128 a month. This consists of one thirty minute lesson once a week. Group classes are $65 a month. These classes are fifty minutes and occur once a week. There is a $20 registration fee for new students that includes materials you may need for your all your lessons.

Do you offer adult lessons?

Yes, Lots. Our private lessons are for all ages and skill levels. One of the things we are known for is our Adult Group Guitar Class. These classes are offered multiple times a week.

Are there any recitals at the Lone Star School of Music?

Yes. We have two recitals per year. We have a spring recital and a winter holiday recital. The recitals are lots of fun and a great way to see all the new skills our students have learned. Since we have so many amazing students, we assign each family an hour block for when their student will be performing.

What is the youngest student you have?

We do offer classes for toddlers. That would be our famous Wee Rock Class. This class is for toddlers to learn and have fun playing music in a group setting. Student ages range 1-3 yrs old in this class. Private lessons start at 5.

What will happen at our first lesson?

If you have never been to our school, we will be happy to give you a tour and introduce you to your instructor. Once your lesson begins, you are welcome to sit in or drop off. We encourage you to arrive 5 minutes early before your first lesson.
