What is pole dancing?
Pole dancing is a growing sport for fitness and dance based on choreographed routines and tricks with a pole. Sometimes we even call it yoga on a pole! We incorporate so many yoga moves on the pole, but it makes them just a bit harder since it is done aerially.
How much weight can a pole hold?
There is no particular weight limit for Studio Grade X-Poles, but to add to the safety of our members and guests, our poles have been permanently mounted into the ceilings and floors.
What muscles are worked the most during the exercise?
Pole is a full body workout, although your shoulders, arms and core are used the most. Leg gripping is very essential to hold many moves, so those muscles are engaged most of the time as well.
