Yoga Shala

The pace is slower and more mindful than, say, a power yoga class, and it's perfect for someone who has had injuries or wants to prevent injuries, because the practitioner has time to notice how each position feels, then adjust.

They are not only highly skilled and deeply knowledgeable teachers, they are caring and compassionate, and create a welcoming environment at Yoga Shala.

The classes are taught in the manner of Iyengar Yoga, which is methodical and alignment-based and my personal favorite style of yoga.

Three years ago I also began participating in a weekly meditation group, which is a better experience than I could ever have imagined.

Here, you can find challenge or respite in equal measure, to rest your soul or grow your practice.

Deeply generous and inspirational, everyone is welcome in the community at Yoga Shala of Boulder.

The instructors are exceptional - kind, gentle in touch and spirit, and highly educated in the Iyengar Method and from their own practice and experiences.

The teaching is so great here and all the teachers highly trained, so I always feel I'm safe and getting great advice during class.
