I intend to offer a form of Bikram yoga which is pure and proven. At the time this studio came into being, Yoga was as much a of a spiritual pursuit as it was a form of exercise. The economics of Yoga has, since, diluted out a lot of the spiritual content of Yoga. I would like to bring some of that spirituality back.

Attended a morning class while visiting out of town and it was a great place to drop in.
Like other review mentions here, it’s hard to find a dedicated hot yoga - bikram yoga - studio these days, but oakland studio keeps it the traditional way.
Ive been doing Yoga here since 2013 and glad that it’s still open after the Pandemic hit.
A legitimate bikram (hot) yoga practice is hard to find.
Showers readily available after class.
Very friendly and they take their times for new yogis!!
I love the decor, the teachers and especially the surrounding Lake Merritt area for a delightful after-yoga-walk around the Lake :)
Wish the practice rooms were larger.
Big fan of this studio, it's great value with good teachers, room is long with only two rows so you can always see the mirror, only complaint is that they haven't removed the photos of Bikram yet, could do with a bar
