A+ Tutor - Knowledgable and patient Charles has been a terrific tutor for my 17-year-old daughter in AP Chemistry. He reviews the material in a manner that is easy to understand and fosters a positive learning environment. My daughter's ability to comprehend the material has increased greatly since Charles has been assisting her. Her grades show that as well. I have used Juliana several times and have always found her friendly ["patient" LOL] and very knowledgeable.
We have a great teacher whom we love and it is easy to book and pay for lessons.
(FYI - My son took the A+, N+, and SEC + classes in person and asked multiple professors for assistance/clarification on the information to no avail or to frustration on the part of the professor
We found a math tutor quickly and she has been WONDERFUL!
They simply speak the same “language” while working through concepts - something my son does not experience with his high school teacher.
Wyzant is amazing website where you can find any tutors you want for your kids!
Another great benefit is that each session is taped and available for replay for 30 days, which helps kids go back to revisit covered topics.
We were able to search for a tutor for that specific topic/class and within hours we had an appointment set up for her to start tutoring on Zoom to get the support and help she needed.
We have used other tutors in the past-and they tend to ask questions that lead them directly to the answer without figuring HOW to do the problem.
I am able to have our recorded lessons available each time, which is a big advantage to having an in-person tutor.
