Co-founders Matthew Hayward and Angela Niederloh are well known to the Oregon Music Community as performers and educators. They have served on the voice faculties of Portland State, George Fox and Pacific Universities. The studio works regularly with lead singers in the band Pink Martini, has served as vocal coach on the feature film "Souvenir" starring Isabelle Huppert and our studio members have appeared on national television programs, won vocal competitions on the State and National level, as well as scholarships to some of the most prominent music schools and conservatories in the United States and Europe.

After nearly 20 years away from singing I decided to take voice lessons as a 36 year old adult and was extremely nervous about it (both my age and being decidedly mediocre as a singer).
Each visit starts off with different warmups and then we get into what we'd like to work on.
He looks for what students are doing well and then guides them to make improvements on that.
I went through a thyroidectomy and this was my way of celebrating having a voice - it's been more fruitful than mental health therapy.
