If I'm not majoring in art, how can art help? After discussing with my parents before 9th grade, I decided to use art as my extra curriculum. Art has helped me stand out from my peers in college applications. My MIT interviewer told me, "Everyone in MIT has something special. For you, art is the thing”. Great reliable and professional teachers, the kids have a lot of fun here and learn real art skills.
Ever since I was 6 yrs old, I spent 1-2 hours a week in art class, and in high school I would take classes for 3 or 4 hours at a time, dedicated to creating an art portfolio for college.
The extraordinary art work on the walls is testament to the education all the students receive!
Art is such a healthy outlet for children to learn basic skills...
I highly recommend this art school to anyone that has any interest in art, for not only has US Arts been an art school to me, but also been like a second home.
