My daughter has art class here.
I entered The Paintbrush as a professional stick figure illustrators and left as a Van Gogh impersonator (minus the drama).
He thoroughly enjoyed the classes because of the music that they listened to from the period of the artist of the week.
Thank goodness for The Paintbrush on Halsted for keeping art in the community and teaching children in this fast paced world, that getting in touch with your inner artist is something every person,, big or small, needs everyday.
We’ve been to birthday parties, gingerbread house workshops and drop-in art - The Paintbrush never disappoints.
The teachers are nurturing individuals who help the children have a great time with creative expression.
Melanie was gracious and hospitable and made sure the kids had a great time!
The Paintbrush is a comfortable kid-friendly space where it's ok to make a mess and try things!
