I am incredibly happy that I decided to join Dance Den. About 1-2 years ago, I scheduled my first session but ended up canceling because I was too nervous. I've never danced, lack rhythm, have stage fright, and worry about what people think of me—pretty much all the things! However, I met Melody through friends, and we became close. I decided to give Dance Den a try because I felt comfortable with her. My goals here are to learn various dance styles, gain confidence, and feel comfortable dancing in public. I saw shuffling on TikTok and thought it looked amazing, so I decided to start with that. That's when I met Maria, my shuffling teacher. She is absolutely incredible! We had an introductory class learning Waltz with Melody, it was great!
Had the best time with LIZ cannot wait to start my journey here!
I had no coordination, but she made me feel empowered.

*Edit* After several classes with Maria I can confidently say that the shuffling program here is worth every penny.
The group classes are also a blast—everyone is so friendly, and it's clear that they all love having her as an instructor.

In my 35 years, I’ve never had any sort of professional dancing instruction, and I definitely wasn’t born with a rhythmic bone in my body… but having Daphne teach me a one-on-one salsa session with super stress-free and she broke it down Barney style so I can easily understand the foot work.
