Ted Rooney Film Acting Classes
My philosophy is that acting is very personal and requires an availability, integrity and honesty that can be practiced when ina welcoming, safe environment. I believe that for anyone who comes as a "functioning humanbeing", good acting (not great acting, mind you)is very close at hand;that initially ourgreatest taskis to get outof our own way (our head)so we can practice what we are already capable of doing. The first step is to bring who we are into that space in front of the camera.

I am 21 years old, could you give me information?
His teaching has an emphasis on finding the character within you rather than becoming someone else entirely.
Teds class was one of the best things I’ve done to advance my acting, but it was also beneficial for my well being.
Ted was a great teacher and this class really helped me be more believable and authentic in my acting.
With amazing experience and invaluable insight, he was able to really get to the heart of what it means to be an on camera actor.
EXCELLENT training for a stage-trained actor seeking to develop skills for film acting.
Whether you are just curious about acting or looking to further your training, you will benefit from Ted's classes.
I went from feeling like I was a fish out of water to being so excited and empowered to keep going, thanks to Ted's compassionate, honest and encouraging approach.
Fantastic film acting school!
In fact, many of the lessons from his class (the overarching one is being comfortable with yourself) can be used in all aspects of "real life".
