As a beginner to Pilates, I was slightly intimidated at the thought of joining the studio. However, after working with Lysa and her team, I can honestly say it was the best decision I've ever made. Lysa took the time to understand my overall health goals and she made sure that I felt comfortable with the equipment before even joining a class. Not only have I lost a substantial amount of weight, toned up, and gained a lot of strength, but I've also corrected my posture. I used to struggle with lower back pain and that has gone away. She's so knowledgeable about what I need to work on for my specific problem areas!
Having never done anything like it, I started with private classes and built enough confidence to join a group beginners class.
We both see the benefits of our work with her in our daily activities and posture as well as our golf swing, extension and energy level.
She is able to modify a workout to work on specific issues or to change the intensity.
I'm working with Kristin Miller and she is the best instructor I have ever worked with.
